Introduction:
The Monroe County Youth Football Association (MCYFA) recognizes the financial constraints that some families may face when providing necessary equipment for their children. To promote affordability and inclusivity within the league, we have devised a plan to start accepting gently used cleats, jerseys, and pants as donations. This program aims to facilitate the collection and distribution of donated items to families in need. By providing an opportunity for families to pick up these items along with their other equipment, we strive to create a more accessible and supportive environment for all participants in the MCYFA.

Objectives:

  • Establish a sustainable donation program to collect gently used cleats, jerseys, and pants from the community.
  • Promote affordability and inclusivity within the MCYFA by making donated items available to families in need.
  • Encourage the reuse of equipment and reduce waste by extending the life cycle of cleats and pants.
  • Strengthen community bonds by fostering a spirit of support and generosity among MCYFA participants and their families

Donation Guidelines:

  • Cleats must be practice/game worthy with cleat tread and no rips or holes.
  • Pants, shorts, and practice jerseys cannot have holes in them.
  • Pants must still have pads in them.

How to Contribute:
If you have items you would like to donate please drop them in the marked donation bins during Equipment Handout or email mocyfa.org to schedule a pickup anytime. You may also become a league sponsor by purchasing a sponsorship at: https://www.mcyfa.org/sponsorship.cfm
